Since 2003, Haverim Le'Refuah (Friends for Health) has been saving lives.
We share a goal for 'Tikun Olam'; to improve and repair our world. Our project of gathering unused medication and then distributing it for free is unique in the world and has improved the lives of countless people all over Israel. Our team of volunteers share a commitment to make a difference and change the lives of thousands.
We are the proud recipients of the Award of Appreciation from the Faculty of Medicine in Jerusalem (2014), the President’s Award in 2013, the Health Ministry Award in 2011, and a medal for Distinguished Service from the National Council for Volunteering in 2008.
The award of appreciate to Friends for Health was awarded in memory of Rabbi Yechiel Landman (z"l) by the School for Occupational Therapy, at the Faculty of Medicine at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
