Excitement at Airport

Visit by Vice Consul of Turkey, Rabbi Lau and a friend

The excited parents and children are at the airport together. The vice consul of Turkey and her assistant came to see them off at the airport and said that it's better for the two peoples to work to be united rather than to bother with politics. The group landed in the early evening and already at 8:00pm they were settled into the hotel Pemmar

A jeep trip into the mountains of Antalya.

This morning started with a meal from the chief chef who has accompanied us the entire trip. At 10 am we held a ceremony for Holocaust memorial day. Then we went from the hotel to a jeep trip through the Jibeez mountains, whose peaks are snow covered and in between are waterfalls and streams. We called the jeep trip "The Run of the Million" and it took eight hours. In the afternoon we stopped to rest and to eat a barbeque. The staff of volunteers had prepared a play for the children. Tonight we have a karaoke party at the hotel. Tomorrow we sail on a boat and we visit the market and the waterfalls of Antalya.

Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers that give the children moments of fullness and excitement. We take our hats off to you and to your parents who know how to raise children so full of patience and tolerance, sensitivity and empathy. We love you.

It's very, very strange that Roie isn't here with us. The house is suddenly empty, but it is great for us to know that he is having a great time and that he has a madrich as great as Gilad Yifrach that's taking care of him. Thanks to everyone for everything. B'hatzlacha.
