Come be a Volunteer!

Dozens of professional volunteers, from high-ranking, multi-degreed executives to many hundreds of good people from all walks of life, are proud to be part of "Haverim-Friends for Health" volunteer base.

They provide good company, utilize their professional experience for the benefit of others, enrich many hours of leisure time, help sick children with school work, produce events and parties, plan festive activities and always devote their hearts and souls, with warmth and love, to do what they can to reduce human pain and suffering.

If you are an individual/ professional/ business interested in donating your time and talents to Haverim-Friends for Health, please complete the volunteer form or contact the "Friends" office.

Here is a partial list of the type of volunteers we need:

• Lawyers to represent the families of the sick.
• Doctors to provide services for those who cannot afford it.
• Restaurant owners to donate meals to the patients' families.
• Builders and repairmen, to refurbish and adapt apartments for people with special needs.
• Volunteers to be with sick children in the hospital at nights or when their parents need a break.
• Personal mentors to accompany sick or disabled children; a weekly visit to the child's house.
• Mentors to escort children to weekly sports activities.
• Big brothers and sisters' for long-term relationships with the sick in the hospital.
• Drivers with cars to transport patients and families/run errands/deliver medicines in Central Israel.
• Business and factory owners to donate products and services, e.g. games, candies, crafts accessories, etc.
• Hotel owners to host sick children's camps and trips.
• Wedding hall owners to host meals or parties.
• Catering businesses to supply food.
• D.J. for celebrations.
• Clowns, magicians and other artists to give shows in and out of hospital.
• Mentors
• Make-up artists for special events in hospital and fun days outside.
• Alternative medical therapists.
• People with specific talents who can moderate workshops.
• Nurses and doctors to accompany hikes and camps.
• Photographers to film special events and hikes.
• Wheelchairs, walking frames and other accessories
• Popcorn machines, pancake makers, etc.
• Sound equipment for parties.
