Deputy health minister Mr. Litzman, visits Haverim-Friends for health and attends the opening of the voluntary pharmacy

Haverim director and founder, Mr. Yechiel Landmann surveyed the general health situation in Israel where thousands of needy patients can not afford to purchase medications and afford life saving treatments, Landman explained the urgent need to save medications and revealed that an estimates 100 million US$ worth of medications are thrown away in Israel every year.
Deputy Health minister Litzman replied'' this is an act of Hessed of an unprecedented scope and a breakthrough in aiding the needy'' he promised to do his best to assist and instructed his staff to help Haverim further develop this project.
Haverim- Friends for Health unique project is a ground breaking imitative transferring medications from private donors to needy patients at no cost.
''We have 90 volunteers across the country collecting medications' people who have medications they no longer need should deliver them to our volunteers and we will transfer them to the needy patients- for them this could be life saving donation'' Landmann added.
